Turnberry Tee Times & Matchplay Entry

I am delighted to confirm that we are now able to announce the tee times for our outing to Turnberry.  I am looking forward to seeing many of you on Monday the 31st May 2021.  I’m pleased to advise that we managed to secure some extra places for the outing and have been able to accommodate everyone who wanted to attend this outing.

If you you have not already made payment for the outing  please make payment now to the club bank account. (Members and Retired £55 and Associates £65).

Here is some general guidance for the day.

Please turn up no more than 3/4 hour prior to tee off time. With regards the catering, due to restrictions, the current guidance is that the bacon rolls and coffee will be distributed on the first tee and a packed linch will be provided at the 9th hole.

On the course it will be usual rules with flags kept in and because of the lack of rakes in bunkers preferred lies can be taken.

This is a stableford competition with score contributing to The Race to West Kilbride. At the starters hut are the new WHS tables, and we will likely be off the yellow tees.  As normal this is a stroke play event. However it is, all being well through the season, a counting event for the Race to West Kilbride so we would ask that all players record their stroke play score and stableford score (full on course handicap allowance).

Each Group is responsible for agreeing the recording and verification of their scores which should be confirmed between the group at the end of the round.  It is not necessary to exchange cards and cards will NOT be collected.  We ask that one person from each Group takes responsibility for advising the scores for all players in the group to Stuart Cameron ([email protected] ) or via the CONTACT FORM on the BOSGGC website.
