As previously advised our penultimate outing for 2018 will be to Ranfurly Castle Golf Club on Sunday 7th October where members will be competing for the Vice Presidents Trophy. As usual the competition will be played as a Stableford over 18 holes.

Established in 1889, Ranfurly Castle Golf Club is easily accessible sitting on the edge of Bridge of Weir village, 7 miles west of Glasgow Airport. However, once you have played your approach to the 2nd green and looked back over the Clyde valley, it’s the last you will see of Glasgow other than fleeting glimpses, for the next couple of hours as you enter the Renfrewshire countryside and enjoy one of the best moorland courses in Scotland.

It is not only the best course in the area, recognised by regularly hosting national competitions, but is also the oldest golf club in Renfrewshire.

There will be longest drive and nearest the pin prizes and the outing will also count in our Race to West Kilbride competition.

The cost is, a very reasonable, £35 for Members and £45 for Associates and includes tea/coffee and a morning roll before play and soup and sandwiches at the end. Tee off times will be mid morning and will be published ahead of the outing. Application can now be made via the website.

Please ensure that you have paid the relevant fee direct to the Club’s Account prior to the date of the outing. If you require details for making the payment please contact a member of the Committee.

Entries Close on Friday 28th September after which tee off times will be advised.
